The course has a total of 6 classes, each lasting two hours. It takes place every Sunday at the same time, that is, one class per week, online using the Google Meet platform, which does not require installation.

• Data types, arithmetic and logical operations
• Analysis of the Tables to be used in the course (Relational Map of Tables)
• Basic Queries
Second Class
• Practice on Basic Queries
• Search conditions
• Practice on Search Conditions
• Summary Queries
Third Class
• Practice on Summary Queries
• Queries on more than one table (it is recommended to review set theory)
• Practice on Queries with more than one table
Fourth Class
• Subqueries and the Exists clause
• Integrative exercises
• Examples
Fifth Class
• Functions and examples
• Practice
Sixth Class
• Creation of Tables and modification of their data (update, delete, insert, alter)
• Examples and exercises
Target Audience
Students, economists, BI analysts, financial analysts, and anyone curious in general. This knowledge is applicable to multiple professions. The intended participants of this course are all those who are not familiar with what a database is.
Expected Results
• Use the SQL language to automate simple tasks.
Methodology
At the beginning of the course, a survey is conducted about the students’ knowledge and their specific objectives. Through theoretical and practical classes, the student is prepared for a final evaluation at the end of the course.
